Safety Features in the new 2018 Toyota 4Runner include a total of eight airbags, a full complement of airbags and curtain airbags located throughout the cabin. The active height adjustable head restraints were not available in 2017, but now these are available on all three rows of seats. The vehicle also offers the LATCH system for car seats and driver and passenger knee airbags.
