As a next-generation model, the 2024 Toyota Tacoma introduces several exciting improvements. The Tacoma’s performance equipment is also drastically improved with a new four-cylinder turbo gas engine and a hybrid engine alternative. 2023 Toyota Tacoma - Performance
The powertrains available for the new Toyota Tacoma near Colorado Springs are new. Last year’s V6 and inline-four engines have been replaced by a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine and a hybrid system. The new turbocharged engine raises the horsepower production to between 228 and 278. The i-Force Max hybrid engine generates 326 combined horsepower. Both have an eight-speed auto transmission, and the gas system is also available with a six-speed manual transmission. The Tacoma can tow up to 6,500 pounds and accommodate a payload of 1,709 pounds. Toyota Tacoma - Safety
The new Toyota Tacoma near Colorado Springs is equipped with Safety Sense 3.0 technologies across all trim levels. This suite of features includes Proactive Driving Assist for the first time, and it adjusts the vehicle’s speed to accommodate curves in the road. The 2024 Tacoma’s suspension also has been improved. It is now a multilink rear suspension. Depending on the trim that you prefer, the Tacoma’s suspension may have leaf springs or advanced coils. Select trims may also have an Old Man Emu suspension, adaptive dampers, Fox internal bypass shocks or monotube Bilstein shocks.
