What's new on the 2023 Toyota Highlander
The new Toyota Highlander near Colorado Springs introduces updates to its features and powertrains. What exciting changes have been made? The V6 engine in the 2022 Highlander has been replaced by a turbo 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine. It gives you 265 horsepower and comes with front-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission. All-wheel drive continues to be optional for all trims. The top trims for the 2023 Highlander now have power-folding side mirrors, a hands-free liftgate and a digital instrument panel.
2023 Toyota Highlander - Performance
All trims for the new Toyota Highlander near Colorado Springs have the same powertrain and performance capabilities. Last year’s V6 engine is no longer available. Instead, the Highlander receives 265 horsepower from a four-cylinder, 2.4-liter turbo engine. Across the trim line, the Highlander also has an eight-speed automatic transmission as well as front-wheel drive. Optional all-wheel drive is available.
Toyota Highlander - Safety
All trims for the new Toyota Highlander near Colorado Springs are outfitted with Safety Sense 2.5+ features and emergency communication capabilities. Safety Sense 2.5+ includes a traffic sign reader, front collision mitigation, lane keeping, automatic high beams and adaptive cruise control. Some of the higher Highlander trims for 2023 may also be equipped with a rear cross-traffic alert, a blind-spot warning and a surround-view camera.
Toyota Highlander - Mechanical
While the Toyota Highlander is thoughtfully equipped and beautifully styled, it is engineered to deliver a confident, smooth ride. The four-wheel independent suspension in all trims is combined with stabilizer bars at the front and rear. An anti-locking braking system is standard. The braking system also includes solid rear disc brakes and ventilated front disc brakes.
