PUEBLO, CO (June 3, 2015) - Those hungry for live music, good beer and a smorgasbord of BBQ will find their heart's desire at the Riverwalk 15th Annual Loaf 'N Jug Boats, Bands and BBQ on Friday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6. The headlining entertainment is Jason Boland and the Stragglers and other bands include Overton Road, Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band, Triple Nickel, Landon Williams and many more.
Come feast on delicious BBQ as national teams compete for a $10,000 prize purse sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. Visitors will enjoy beer gardens, kids' fun zone, great shopping, and all the BBQ you can handle!
Make sure you take the family on a boat ride while you are here, the excursion boats, the gondola and the pedal boats will be out all weekend!
The gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday with live music. Come enjoy great BBQ, fun festival food and live music by Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band at 6 p.m. , Jason Boland and the Stragglers at 9 p.m., both on the Walmart Stage. The Pueblo Toyota Stage will host Olivia Colletti at 5 p.m. and Patrick Kratzer at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday the event continues from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. with music by Wranch Handsome, Mixed Emotions, Jacob Christopher, Roma Ransom, Landon Williams, Guns & Hoses, Triple Nickel, Highland Underground and Overton Road. Enjoy Pepsi and Budweiser beverages as well as live music on both entertainment stages.
Returning this year on Saturday night is the 2nd annual Steel City Brewfest sponsored by Big Wheel Tire. Tickets are $40 for the VIP hour at 5 p.m. and are $30 at 6 p.m. VIP tickets can be purchased at the Welcome Center at 102 S Union Avenue, the $30 tickets are available at all Pueblo Loaf ‘N Jug stores. Get your tickets soon they are selling fast!
General admission to Boats, Bands and BBQ is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 4 to 12. Children 3 and under are free. Buy a Super Ticket at any Pueblo Loaf 'N Jug for $6, it is good for both days!
